Suzy- MEDASSET’s Sea Turtle Biologist
Suzy
Crossland (BSc and MSc) is a Conservation/ Sea turtle Biologist
who has worked with MEDASSET since 2004. She received her
BSc. in Environmental Studies and Geography in 2001 and received
a MSc. in Conservation Biology in 2002. Suzy
has been actively and enthusiastically involved in conservation
for over 11 years in projects across the Mediterranean, Latin
America and also the Caribbean. Her work has focused on sea
turtle biology, nesting activity and hatching success, and
she has led projects in Costa Rica, Suriname and Greece. In
addition, Suzy has worked in several rescue/ rehabilitation
centres, conducted sea turtle necropsies and presented studies
at several International Sea Turtle Symposiums
