Distribution and population:
- Rookeries:(FAO)
- Michocoan, Mexico
- Guatemala
- Galapagos Islands
- Range:(FAO)
- Inhabits coastal waters of the eastern tropical Pacific ocean.
- Not commonly observed in the opean ocean.
- Population: (Agardy - BBC Wildlife 1992)
- Difficult to estimate but some 3,000 females in Mexico/californian
coast.
- Less important nesting near Galapagos.
- Also some nexsting north in Academy Bay. (see FAO for details)
