King's College - Biology Department

Who are they?

The Biology Department of King's College, Taunton has been closely involved in sea turtle conservation since a major project was conducted on the Greek island of Zakynthos in 1993. Since then the department, in collaboration with Exeter University, has created Europe's first website devoted entirely to sea turtle conservation in the Mediterranean.

How are they involved?

King's College have created and will be maintaining the "Greentrack" website. The original idea came from Roger Poland, who is a part-time researcher at Exeter University and a teacher of Biology at King's College.
