You are a young female and only manage to lay 75 eggs. You fill the
hole with sand and disguise the area to prevent predators from finding
your nest. Your need to return to the safety of the sea is great and
you turn around and head back towards the water. You reach the warm
sea and swim out into the bay - you may return in a few weeks to lay
a second clutch of eggs.

You will now need to keep an account
of how many of your eggs hatch and survive and how many turns you have
taken.
The female loggerhead has now returned to the sea
and your role changes. Click on the turtle to find out what happens
next.
