Protective cover
It is still dark and very early in the morning and all the living eggs have
hatched successfully. Unknown to you, a conservationist had placed a cover
over the nest which has protected it from predators and people. The nest
has been carefully watched by the conservationists and the cover has been
removed to allow all of the hatchlings to emerge (come out) successfully
