You take
the role of a mature female Loggerhead turtle who wishes to lay her eggs
in the soft sand of a Greek Island.
It is mid July and you arrive
in the warm shallow waters of a large bay with beautiful sandy beaches
that turtles have chosen for thousands of years as a key nesting site. You
were born on one of these beaches over 30 years ago. You have recently
mated with a male further out to sea. During the evening, you approach the
warm sandy beach and pop your head up above the surface of the water to
breathe and to have a look around.
